Modern Warfare 3 is a multiplayer game that continues to raise the standard by focusing on fast-paced, gun-on-gun action, as well as unique features that support and enhance a wide range of play styles. Killstreaks have been overhauled, new game types have been added, and a gun progression system has been implemented that allows you to upgrade your weapons over time.
The campaign of Modern Warfare 3 is set after the events of the previous game's last mission. It is centered around Task Force 141, which includes Captain Price, Soap MacTavish, and Yuri, one of the playable characters, similar to Modern Warfare 2. They are pursuing Vladimir Makarov (the trilogy's major antagonist), a Russian terrorist who leads the Russian Ultranationalist group, alongside the Delta Force and Special Air Service. He is the mastermind behind a series of terror strikes across Europe, sparking a large-scale conflict between Ultranationalists and allied forces. New match types and killstreak options have been added to the game's multiplayer feature. Improvements to the mode were also introduced, which addressed flaws that emerged in Modern Warfare 2.
